First Eid Together

It was our first time enjoying Ramadhan together. I was our first time celebrating Hari Raya together.
Supposedly, Le Hubby wanted us to celebrate it at his side in Pahang but due to some unavoidable circumstances like:

His mom fell sick, refused to go out of the house
We haven't done wedding reception on his side yet
His sister asked us not to go back to Pahang, because of No 2.

I really don't want to spoil our first eid together. So we went back to Melaka on 2nd last day of puasa night. Good thing there's no heavy traffic to south.

Arrived at Melaka, we stopped at Alor Gajah to fetch bamboo for lemang.

The next day, we prepared to cook lemang, rendang, ketupat and all.

Actually, this was the first time we did lemang in this family.

~On Hari Raya Day 1~

First thing, ride motorbike to masjid for solat hari raya. Then family pictures; salam-salam, bermaaf-maafan. Eat breakfast. Went to grandma and great-grandma's grave and read Yassin. Then, we went to Mak Ngah's house downstairs (literally next to our house, using stairs to go there) while waiting all my abah's siblings nearby to come. Pak Long's family, Mak Andak's family, etc). Then we go to Semabok, around Melaka to almost all my dad's relatives.

~Hari Raya Day 2~

Going back to Tanjung Karang, Selangor to my mother's side. As soon as we arrived, we followed my brothers to fishing. That night, we visit our relatives house. We lost on our way. Knowing how my dad's drive, we couldn't catch up that why we lost. LOL!

~Hari Raya Day 3~

Went to relatives house some more.

And the evening, we headed home and my family stayed 1 night at our house before going back to Melaka the next day.

So next year Hari Raya celebration will be at Le Hubby side at Pahang. I better be mentally prepared. >_<

Honeymoon 1.0 - Day 2 - 3

Day 2 - 22.05.2017

The next morning, we woke up to this view. We managed to get up early despite staying late (we reach the hotel almost 2 am).

We were supposed to play at the beach that morning but if only we have time. But we have to get on the road, headed to Lost World of Tambun.

Yup, we arrived ~ almost 11 or so. Apparently the swimming attire we bought were not allowed. Well, we googled and there's pictures so I thought it was okay tho. We were tight on budget and still have to buy the cheapesttttt legging and short for both of us and swim shirt for le hubby. Mood was 20% down for that. For the locker we have to pay, another 10% mood down. Well it sucks because we spent unnecessarily that we don't have enough money for food. Ugghhh.

We played a lot. Hot spring 42-43 degree wasn't meant for me. But other than that, the attraction in the water park was okay. We didn't go to the tiger valley or petting zoo or the amusement park. It started raining heavily at 4 pm.

So, on the way back to hotel, we ate dinner, bought some snacks to eat in the car and in the hotel and get some rest.

The next day, we ate breakfast and then ready to check out. We stopped at Tanjung Malim for the famous pau and bought 2 durians.

So that was our first honeymoon. Penang was great. Perak was so-so. If only we have more money, then we could have enjoy it. And for my own record, I think better go to Pangkor island than playing at water park. Or doing activity provided by the hotel. Seems more fun.

Honeymoon 1.0 - Day 1

adventure

Late honeymoon to be exact. We got married in March, went for honeymoon in May, right before fasting.
Since my uncle gave us RM 550 voucher for Swiss Garden Damai Laut, Perak so we decided to go on 21-23rd May 2017.

Day 1 - 21.05.17 (Sunday)
Kuala Lumpur to Penang

First getaway - ESCAPE PARK
Actually we planned to go to Bukit Bendera first, riding cable car and all. But yeah, we woke up late, started the journey late. So, to the escape park!

Escape was so fun. It's all about the adrenaline rush!!! We didn't get to try all of it because it's Sunday and there's many people there. I love monkey business, flying lemur and the feeling of death from Atan's leap. Here's the video of us trying the Atan's Leap. I was definitely not going to do it again, but I still want to do it again. That kind of feeling.

On the way back, we stopped for a while at Batu Ferringhi beach to catch the sunset.
It was magnificent. I really love beach. Too bad we can't dip in the water.

After enjoying the sunset, we hunt for dinner. Before we travelled, we already booked a dinner for two via fave (previously groupon) at Easy Brew Cafe. The cafe has such a nice ambiance. The romantic feeling while having dinner. The food came in set and it was truly delicious. Totally worth the price.

Now, stomach full. Let's go check in to the hotel. It was 2+ hours drive from Penang to the hotel. The road was dark and way too far from the highway, thus the 2+ hours.

... is the starting of our new page, new chapter, new book.

Love isn't perfect. It isn't a fairy tale or a storybook and it doesn't always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacle, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define and impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all, love is realizing that every hour, every minute, every second of it was worth it because you did it together.

We've been through a lot to get to this very day. I almost give up. All the happy things, unimaginable things, bad things, sad things. A lot of things that I wish won't happened and hope it won't continue in the future.
